What a pile of crap. For most of the match we hammered them. Some of our first half football was sensational, even McCoist was full of praise. They hit us on the break. The second half was all one way. Pathetic scoring of a match.Ratings.lol.

Newcastle 2-3 Man City: Player ratings as De Bruyne saves the day from the bench
Match report & player ratings from Newcastle 2-3 Man City in the Premier League.www.90min.com
Tighter at the back as well, conceding too many. The game should have been won long before God had to come to the rescue.. They had 2 or 3 chances and scored 2 whereas we had a pile of easier chances and scored none. We need to be far more clinical .
some people just don't notice the world around them - it makes them feel differentSome people feel safe to follow a mass narrative - it makes them feel a part of something
Thought Gordon did his best to try and win a free kick. Looked through my blue-tinted specs like he pulled Dias down by the arm and then acted like he'd been hurt. My proof of this is that he's a diving little fucker no matter who he's playing. All the BS about the foul in the build up to Bernardos goal but I thought the Newcastle player went right through the city player only 2 passes before their equaliser.
This is what happens when he hasn’t had a salted caramel LatteNoticed on the Match of the day highlights, Bernardo have a go at the Newcastle bench after our winner, until Pep held him back.
Wonder if anything was said previously or if Bernardo was on the wind up. Either way, love the guy.
I’ve noticed Walker get a lot further forward this season. What an important win for us.
Bobb is such an amazing guy, I thought that a lot of others would have taken a penalty. That assist was perfect, the touch from Bobb, no words needed. I think everybody was great yesterday, it was not about 1,2,3 guys, it was a very good team performance.
Just one thing I didn‘t understand: the second goal by Gordon, if Walker would immediately sprint in the space, when Gordon gets the ball, the situation would be completely different.
Hopefully we will take the break sensible and will have great next months. Stay behind them, we really have such a great team, the atmosphere will be huge in the final months. CTID
Normally I would agree but Doku had just come back from injury. Can’t blame him from ducking out of that particular challenge.I agree I think we battered them yesterday, They were chasing shadows for basically the entire game and especially the second half.
They hit us on the break three times, Twice they scored and the other Ortega made a good save from Isak.
I actually feel a bit for Walker to be honest he's getting a lot of stick for both goals, I think it's an lazy assessment of both Newcastle goals just to blame Walker.
Gordon made a fabulous ran on the outside to give Walker something to think about, Dias was also too slow to come around on the cover. But the most important thing about the first goal which not many people is bringing up is Doku being a fanny, He pulled out of the challenge from Schar just before Bruno received the ball to play in behind. Doku needs to be committed and put his foot in to make a tackle and not shy away from it.
Sometimes we just have to hold our hands up to some goals and say they were fantastic finishes, Gordon's goal was a wonderful strike, For me personally I didn't think he could score from their but he was bang on the money.
Clever run by Oscar too! He's like fucking Doctor Strange where he can see billions of futures and picks the one where the pass is perfect!
If only we had a half-decent striker on his way back from injury...The game should have been won long before God had to come to the rescue.. They had 2 or 3 chances and scored 2 whereas we had a pile of easier chances and scored none. We need to be far more clinical .
Totally agree. Bobb was so composed and his close control is incredible.
When Bernie scored our first with an indescribable piece of skill I thought that City would go on to win quite comfortably, such was the flow of the game at that time.
Newcastle fought back though, scoring 2 very similar goals in quick succession, to go in ahead at half time.
In the second half we absolutely dominated and did everything bar score. At that time I would have taken a draw.
Then Kev came on and within a short space of time slotted in a superb equaliser.
Game on!
So close to the end of the match now and on came Oscar Bobb. Could he be the matchwinner? Could he?
Kev played a pinpoint accurate pass to Bobb who really shouldn't have been able to score from the position he was in, but he did it, evading all attempts by the Newcastle players desperately trying to stop him (by any means) in the process.
Oscar Bobb had an Aguerrrroo moment and never more welcome.
Happy days!
there was a couple of top saves in there tooThe game should have been won long before God had to come to the rescue.. They had 2 or 3 chances and scored 2 whereas we had a pile of easier chances and scored none. We need to be far more clinical .
