I heard a whisper we'll be playing in the Second Division of the Rwandan League.
That’s a point of have tried and usually failed to get across cos certain things are deemed untouchable. Its the bin dippers that irritate me. There the last set of supporters that should presume guilt without a hearing
The damage is already done. That's what they want. Guilty or innocent we will always be tarred as cheats. We will never shake this off. What's really upsetting in all of this is the collateral damage to our reputation.
Some of the comments I read are very upsetting and border line racist.
The Grauniad went so far as to say that, because CAS did not say “not guilty” but said “UEFA have not proved etc”, we were adjudged not to be innocent but the case was “not proven” as in the Scottish criminal system. It's even worse. They are not even charges. A sporting organisation has accused City of breaching its accounting rules and referred the case to an independent panel. The PL is essentially acting as a private members' club. The headlines about "115 charges" are absurd.
Do you have to be a member, or can you jib onto RAWK on the back of someone else with no accountability? It’s funny on RAWK. They’re praising Harris and his continued obsession to see us ruined. Hes like some god-like hero to them, infact if the worst happened I envisage a statue outside murderfield.
Someone on there has also predicted a 40 point deduction, and then, through sheer paranoia, says it won’t be dished out until a season is deemed where we wouldn’t win the PL anyway, so it looks like we’ve been punished but everyone saves face.
What a fucking weird bunch of people they are on there.
Press.office@mancity.comEven by his standards that’s pretty stunning, mainly because (most) of his tweets have deliberately just about stayed on the right side of the law to avoid litigation.
This is different and surely requires the immediate attention of our legal team??
Last time I made this point about Nick Harris my post was deleted, but here goes.
I sympathise with anyone who suffers a bereavement but I’ve never understood the notion that it gives him a free pass to relentlessly attack our club, call us cheats, accuse us of being criminals and basically call for our abolition.
Bereavement is horrendous but it is something that sadly, and inevitably, we all experience.
The "115 charges" narrative was apprently briefed to some of the media (the Times) shortly before City were told. That could only have come from the PL or a rival club Director who is in the loop with the PL leadership. The PL have been happy to leave that narrative out there and have done nothing to correct it since. It just confirms what we all know: that the PL leadership and some people in the media are still acting in bad faith. The Everton sanction leaked out over last weekend as well. I wonder where that came from.We were guilty according to the media as soon as it was announced
Earth to Jay: they called us cheats anyway. The damage is already done. That's what they want. Guilty or innocent we will always be tarred as cheats. We will never shake this off.
Richard Masters? The "115 charges" narrative was apprently briefed to some of the media (the Times) shortly before City were told. That could only have come from the PL or a rival club Director who is in the loop with the PL leadership. The PL have been happy to leave that narrative out there and have done nothing to correct it since. Yes look at Lance Armstrong fucked him over. :)The damage is already done. That's what they want. Guilty or innocent we will always be tarred as cheats. We will never shake this off.
If the PL had half a brain among their cabal they'd start putting some of the charges in the bin as we move towards next Fall so that by the time the hearings take place a loss for them won't be on such a massive scale. Save themselves the embarrassment. It's bad enough they've accused a member of the UAE royal family of being an enormous liar. fraud, and cheat on a monumental scale, but imagine this panel having the balls to confirm this on the sketchiest of evidence. The fallout would be insane. Hard for me to see this going in any way other than in one direction. But we shall see...Any chance next week that some of the 'charges' have been dropped?
E.g. if city have sent them some irrefutable evidence about the mancini breaches might they have been removed?
I think it is very unlikely that anything would be directly leaked by Masters directly. The way these things work is someone else in the loop mentions it to a rival Club Director who mentions it to one of his pals in the media sometimes at a social event. Of course the PL are happy to let some titbits out if they think it helps their case. The irony is that every single smear tactic adds fuel to City's case. The people on the indpendent panel are not stupid and they know how the game works (just like those at CAS).Richard Masters?

Ha ha nicking that one .Pep will have to wear an ankle tag for 18 months and VAR will review our last 150 games.
The bloke’s an absolute fucking fraud and clearly unwell.Totally absurd comments posted at 1am. FFP rules didn't even apply till 2013 so any club could do as much "accelerated investment" as they wanted in 2010. That is just sound business practice. Chelsea, United, Real Madrid, Barcelona had been doing "accelerated investment" for decades.
They were calling us cheats... state owned cheats. Uefa cheats ffp cheats. Human rights abusing. The damage is already done. That's what they want. Guilty or innocent we will always be tarred as cheats. We will never shake this off.
Exactly !They were calling us cheats... state owned cheats. Uefa cheats ffp cheats. Human rights abusing.
You maybe need a thicker skin. This has been going on since pep started winning their trophies.
