PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Is there a way to check any deleted emails? Besides the junk folder which they would obviously empty? ie, could a computer specialist if required confirm if any emails were indeed deleted?
I’m sure you can recover deleted stuff from the hard drive if you have enough knowledge. The police do it all the time.

City, the team I support unconditionally, are a fantastic football club.

You cannot pick and choose who you support, it's in your bones from your earliest memory.

Half and half scarfers, selfie stick wavers and bandwagon jumpers just don't understand.

Personally, I've seen us win the league cup with Dennis's overhead kick, seen us miss out on the division 1 title by a point and reach the centenary FA cup final in '81, the result of which still hurts.

David fkin Pleat, skipping across the pitch, dropping into division 2 and rising like a Phoenix, thanks to Joe and KK to get back to the PL.

The take over in 2008, not really knowing what to expect, the media even back then couldn't help themselves, sneering and belittling us.

Roberto breaking the mould, winning the FA cup, beating the rags on route..

The PL title in 2012, so nearly typical City too..

Manuel winning our first double in 2014, an achievement once again shockingly ignored by the media at the time.

Pep, what can I say, Pep, agreeing to manage us.

Fundamentally changed the game of football in this Country dispite being dismissed as out of his depth joining the PL..

"His brand of football won't work in England, we lump it up to the big man and work on knockdowns and second balls, none of this tippy tappy nonsense for us, thank you very much"..

What a fkin journey we've been on since..

Doubles
Trebles
Quadruples
Champions League
European Super Cup
World Club Champions
100 points
Most home wins in a season
Most away wins in a season
Biggest point margin in winning the PL
Best team in England over the last decade to name but a few of our achievements.

All achieved by not breaking the bank, dispite the laughable notion that we can spend what we want..

On the other spin of the coin, during all this time..

The rags..
Won nothing of note for 11 years.
Best part of a £billon in debt and absolutely no direction.

Dilapidated stadium and failing FFP this season which didn't so much as cause a murmur in the media.

Lift carpet, sweep under and move on.

The dippers..
Dispite having the best manager and the best players in every position, have been completely in our shadow since bingo rocked up there.

One PL* win since it's inception in 1993 and beating a shit spuds team in a CL final which the dippers reached despite losing 4 games on the way.

Sponsored by a money laundering, terrorist supporting bank.

The other stuff they managed to win was mainly on penalties after failing to score a single goal in 120 minutes of play..

Bingo, this season saw his arse and fucked off mid season, a broken man..

Maybe he knows something is coming over the hill regarding the shit we've had thrown at us and has decided to fcuk off now..

Personally, I must say, "it was a good day for football when bingo decided to jack it in"

The tarquins..
Bottlers, drama queens and losers.
The only team to win consecutive titles at Christmas..

Sponsered by Rwanda who's human rights record is shocking.

Spent more than us over the last 2 seasons at least and won fcuk all..

Not a peep from the media as you would expect.

Spuds..
Won fcuk all in my lifetime or most peoples lifetimes to be fair.

Irrelevant, trophy dodgers extrodinaire..

Absolutely no morals..
Main shareholder has been convicted for insider trading in the US.

Annoying little brother of the above 3..

Fast forward to today..

We have just won our 4th straight PL title, just missed out on a first ever double double too..

No respect, acknowledgement or recognition from the media for our outstanding, never been done before in the history of English football, achievement..

We are not the biggest spenders, we are a fantastically well run, managed and owned club..

We have been a fantastically well run, managed and owned club since our takeover in 2008.

The red shits and their little brother, along with the media, SKY and TNT cannot and will not accept or acknowledge our achievements as they think we are cheats..

Well, listen up, CITY are not cheats, dispite already being hung drawn and quartered by all the twats who have their snouts firmly wedged in the red shirted trough.

It's been said before and I want to say it again, once we are cleared, no doubt we will be hit with a none cooperation charge though, I sincerely hope we go after each and every **** that has besmirched our name..

These twats have no respect for themselves or their positions within the media.

Driven by monetary greed, they'd sell their own grandmother rather than report facts, absolutely no respect for themselves..

What a despicable life these mugs must lead..

Please get them ruined City, it will be scant compensation for all the shit we have had to put up with over the years..!
Those journos you mention with their view that Pep ball could not work here just demonstrated their ignorance. Anybody with any nous knew that English football was ripe for a change of direction and junking the hoof ball style: massive improvement in pitches, more scientific training, managers coming in from Europe, stats based analysis etc etc.
By the same token, remember those journos who said you can’t just buy your way to success and are now saying we have bought trophies? Charlatans.

Companies generally have data retention policies but I'd doubt that the PL has one that is so comprehensive that it maintains all deleted content for a long period of time, e.g. more than 30 days.

They probably have very strict retention for some data (tax, legal, etc) but not for day to day general conversations because that could be hugely expensive.

So I'd doubt if any old deleted conversations exist still to be recovered. But the likelihood that everyone deleted all incriminating conversations would be low unless they were all told to delete everything discussed asap. So there was probably loads still there at the point that we asked for it, especially if the people we identified were put into a "legal hold" status.

Same journalists who back England to win every tournament ever because we have some good players and still don't see that unless you have a manager who can pick the best system and tactics for those players you will win fuck all.

For those who are wondering what the current discussion is all about:
Free till 23:59:59 tomorrow (Sunday).
This is all rather interesting.

First, the commission asking the PL for all correspondence (email, chat etc) referring to Manchester City - See Matt Lawson article refered to above.

Second, It is illuminating to me to note (chat in various podcasts I listen to and a talk shite interview comparing City charges with Forest snd Everton) that the first thing City knew about the 115 charges was a letter delivered to club offices! The infruence here is that City had NEVER been asked for information to prove or disprove the charges BEFORE the charges were laid and why City have been given ages to defend against the charges. It all rather puts the kibosh on any non-cooperation charges before the charges were laid doesn't it?

Maybe the discovery request is to ensure we can prove ( beyond reasonable doubt ) our defence against the charge of non-cooperation with the PL? In particular their requests for further information which we consider business sensitive!

If there is evidence of the PL sharing confidential information with our competitors it fully justifies our refusal to co-operate beyond a certain point?

Good call.
Looks to me like the chances of any non-cooperation charges sticking are disappearing over the horizon at great speed!

The fact that an Arsenal exec leaked to story of the unfair rules complaint to the press (via his wife) is evidence of this on it's own.

I still don't understand the legal process behind this request if it's to do with the 115 allegations. You filed accounts that didn't show a true and fair view! No, we didn't and we need to see all the correspondence you have issued about the club to prove it?

Either there is a big chunk of nastiness going on in the 115 allegations that we haven't even considered yet, or it's more likely to do with the APT claim where the PL needs to disclose all its correspondence to defend the claim of discrimination (possibly because the club has provided evidence that suggests it?)?
