what really poor timing by bingo just as pep is cracking up through answering a question asked him about uafa president talkshit at it's finest

Sky must have mistaken the news, giving over next 5 hours to reaction of him going.
He hasn't died, just put his notice in for fuch sake.

Are yous serious? Have you seen Leverkusen??
I've not watched them, but I'm aware of their progress under him. I just think it's a little too early to be lauding him as the next Pep, as has been mentioned on here. I'm not saying he isn't a good manager, or won't become a great manager, just wondering if the hype is a little premature.

Could work for City if the dips get a really good replacement for him. New competition could interest and galvanise Pep. The thing City fans really don't want Pep to feel is bored.

This is the one and only time I’m going to say something positive about Juergen Klopp… but this City team would not have been as highly acclaimed as they are without that Liverpool side from 2017-2020. We would have just rolled teams over and we’d probably be looking at 6 on the bounce. Would a 100 pt season have happened? Who knows. Those three years where we won it on the final day of the season versus Southampton, Brighton and Villa wouldn’t have happened. Games that will be stuck in my memory forever.

I do worry that without somebody like Klopp in the league it just becomes a cake walk - and I don’t want that, I want every win to push us to our best. Maybe Alonso can step into that void, we’ll see. Every He-Man needs a Skeletor and every Superman needs a Lex Luthor - and as much as I rag on the goofy fucker, he is ours and in that respect I’ll be sorry to see him go.

Anyway… now that’s out the way… I hope Liverpool falls into the sea.
They are not etched very well in the memory. We finished 25 pts above Liverpool the year we got 100 points, who finished fourth, so not sure they played any role in that and we did not clinch the title on the last day against Southampton, we clinched it weeks earlier.

But your overall point I agree with they have pushed us and made us achieve even greater feats. If Xabi Alonso takes over we might also see better relations between the clubs and a more respectful tone taken towards City. That can only be a good thing as fostering hate is never a positive thing

Media darlings all wankin over klopp ,hes bin in peps shadow and failed on every run in against us bar 1 ,in covid year where pep lost his mum, last trophy won was 21/22 season, finnished 6th last season lets not get carried away with what hes done, hes won 4 trophys ,we won 3 last season, not even on same levels, but i guarentee u this, this will get more airtime than when pep leaves,it will actually do us a favour this ,and stop the talkin shite about our club for a bit

My word. In RAWK there are some posts that go beyond the realm of rational thinking. It’s very cringe reading some of that.

One poster is giving up football altogether when Klopp leaves.

Last game at Anfield wolves 19th May wonder if they’ll storm their own stadium be great to see us win the title again whilst they beat wolves istory repeating itself pmfsl

Wish we would announce Pep extension right this week. media would hate it so much lol.

fuck off Klopp, really hope we dont let him win the title for a farewell. still angry at season 12/13 where Fergie could have retired with a relatively simple title win.

I want Klopp to go without Carabao, Fa cup, EL or PL trophy this season. empty fucking handed.
come on Chelsea in the Carabao, we need Sterling and Palmer to deliver a blow to him.

hope they dont bring De Zerbi in.

Timing is well planned by the Dippers.
If City win the league again then they announced, it would look like we broke him.
Announce now and who knows what helping hands could come to the media's darling quest for glory in the remaining of his last season.
