By the way, a small thing to note is the complete lack of leaks shows how much Liverpool can and do control media contacts and sources.
 
Strange he would announce it publicly mid way through a season when they are top of the league and have a real chance of winning it and by saying he lacks the energy now - unless he means he lacks the inhalers now

I think this is nonsense given the points totals he's done, and in the process talks down how impressive Pep and City have been to more often than not best them, but I don't think we can agree to disagree.

Could also be that, tbf. And maybe that replacement also wants their candidate for Football Director. Will be interesting to see who would have that kind of clout before they even join the club.
