Pep's tactical set up was perfect. Redolent of City two seasons ago.
We play much better football without Haaland, here, I said it!
Rodri needs to regain his composure, it affects his games in a bad way.
Kovacic was sublime, played like it was Croatia in the WC.
Foden is indispensable to us, might be the reason why Pep stopped subbing him and allowing him to play all over the pitch. Needs to be watched from the terraces to actually appreciate what the lad does off and on the ball for us.
Gvardiol exceptional in his movement and positioning, never seen a chunky defender playing such an offensive role, was extremely poor at passing.
Kyle terrified him with his positioning in their first attempt at CA, but he pulled himself together after that.
Jeremy looks very often as a player who strayed on from an adjacent pitch/game.
And finally, can we always take 9K blues to North London?

Yeah, to be fair, Pep himself said Halaand and Kevin de Bruyne don't really have us to play better in terms of controlling the game (not necessarily worse though, at least Pep didn't say that). So your observation is not totally wrong. But Pep also said they help us to win games, that's the difference.

I know I moan about being clinical but we are creating a ton of chances again. The hunger is there. Few players didn’t play great but we are looking like our old selves again.

They did mention 9000 a couple of times which I didn’t think they would.

Not how I saw it, we dominated and fully deserved the win, I thought we largely battered them.

I'd agree with that. I thought it was a very comfortable win and never thought we were in danger of losing.

Cameras were definitely on the mass Poznan after City scored & were killing the clock in the corner!

Another gem they chose to miss. They did show a tiny segment of the poznan just after the goal, but only a very small part. They(the media) really don't like showing or saying anything positive about our club.

The work rate of that City team was impressive. That game was the perfect example of "You might have the better team but you still got to work hard for it". 10/10 every player.

Just a post about Ortega last night. Other than one wayward kick out, his distribution and general alertness was top drawer. He's certainly getting better with each game and definitely deserves his cup games. A very able stand in.
