India hosting England over the weekend the country celebrates Republic Day; it was always going to be thus...
There are some lengthy gaps between certain Tests, so compared to recent series, both at home and abroad, this is going to feel like a long, long tour for England.

Tough recall going to India! He needs to get up to speed with the conditions like all our players do! We needed another 100 in our first innings really! Still think we will win 2 test matches

Hope it’s not the 4th and 5th after losing the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. A competitive series is a good distraction at this time of the year.Tough recall going to India! Both played well to be fair - Pope taking Ashwin for more than a run a ball is a lovely stat to have in your armour.Maybe I spoke too soon, Pope has worked these conditions out well
If they can get us to even a remotely challenging lead, they will have done phenomenally well for me.
Unfortunately I don't think we have the skillset to take them out (shy of hoping they fluff their shots and catch them on the boundary mind)...........

Just stick around guys and dispatch the relevant - make sure your wicket only falls to a doozy like Stokes got ..........
The Best 100 that by Pope! That now is just the foundations need to get double 100 to win the test match! Think a 200 lead not enough unless we get them all out within 40 overs because once the ball softens it's easier to play shots and India are experts in there home country.

Irrespective of the outcome of this Test, it was going to be important for the series for England to leave Hyderabad knowing they can compete.
I don’t deny that but not a wonder ball considering it was over-pitched. Stokes was in ultra-defensive mode and paid the price.It was a lovely ball though..........
