Is he? He’s certainly anti-discrimination. He gets lumped in with “the loony left” as he speaks out against the current government.

They don’t seem to have much of a wing, merely jumping from one populist policy to the next, to try and appease the vocal noise on social media wanting migrants to drown in the Channel and defunding the RNLI.

I notice that the term 'patriot' is coming to the fore. The people who use it seem to think it is a synonym for 'fascist'.

There are many ways of loving your country, and they do not all involve hating foreigners as a first principle. Indeed, I would argue that the best way to advance this country and its people is by international cooperation and trade. Not by narrow nationalism and xenophobia.

The reptilian part of the brain is strong in these people. We all have it, but most of us still have enough of the Enlightenment within us to keep it under control.

Looks to be more likely a real person behind it rather than a bot. Or a very convincing bot farm account.

Not sure I see the point of him sharing it tbh, (sharing propaganda like that only increases it's circulation), but I did a lens search and David Atherton shared it in December, so it would have had wider exposure than the "bot" or berk above.

Did you ever come across an account called Mark Vipond? That fucker was everywhere posting mad shit on every platform. I feel like they are paid to do it, not a bot as such but just some freak treating it as a job.

No first I've heard of him. I don't spend any time on twitter apart from googling specific accounts or checking out something myself in response to stuff posted elsewhere.

It's not an effective medium for learning and gaining insight but it is effective for radicalisation and finding an echo chamber.

Probably not paid but definitely taking it far too seriously.

Apparently that ghost of goose guy is called Mark if a response to his request for a pub is accurate, I got the impression it was an older man but seems he is 38.

Possibly the same guy?
