Ducker pissing and meaning about Savio
And now the BBC has posted this, noticeably without a byline, though it has Stone and Coppack’s fingerprints all over it

I read that yesterday, realry shows little bias or usual snideness and highlights every prem club owners has shares/own in other teams, though ours it the biggest multiclub group.

If anything it shuts up the stupid arguement we are solely redefining the football landscape, cheating by having mulitple club in our group and doing anything bad, also that UEFA and other federations show a lack of faith in thier product or belief in their competitons that thet ghink sister clubs competing would cheat or fix results.

If we palyed Girona in the champs.league I wouldn't expect them to roll over for us as is implied, same if the rags played nice in the Europa, both teams would be professional.

See what you did there, well played sir

I see Ronay's back on his favourite subject. Won't link but here's a flavour...

"To many neutrals such success in the stratified modern game will carry a sense of economic inevitability, a symptom also of something broken in the way the sport arranges itself now"

"there is a perfect fit between the Guardiola style, which is about control first of all, mastering the ball, destroying the variables that might bring defeat and the billionaire-ball model of City’s nation-state owners, which also involves creating a structure of such impenetrable wealth that its aim is to remove the possibility of defeat."

"But is it actually interesting? Or interesting enough? It was notable in the broadcast of the Brentford game that Sky Sports seemed to be making a very conscious effort to develop a City narrative"

And an all-time classic..

"Not to mention, because nobody seems to want to, the issue of those 115 unresolved charges for breaking financial rules"

He's gone even more Delooney.
"...underwritten by a politically driven sovereign wealth fund." He is either wilfully ignorant or deliberately mendacious. Abu Dhabi have some of the largest sovereign wealth funds in the world and could have bought and funded City with their equivalent of loose change. But they didn't. Sheikh Mansour did.

As for 'economic inevitability' ask Chelsea and United fans how that is going.

Fuck me it was only £200m, they didn’t need a sovereign wealth fund for that, just his personal wealth.

And, for context, that's one sixth that's right 1/6, of what "Sir Jim'" paid for 25% of united. And that's before the extra 150% of City's entire purchase price that he's promised to invest in "infrastructure".

I'm sure the rags used to 'have an understanding' with Royal Antwerp around the turn of this century, where players were loaned from and to. Ronnie Wallwork (the ref hitter) went there when he was deemed even too shit for united.

Sorry mate but you're wrong here.

Read that last paragraph as a stand alone statement.
In NO WAY can "our", in the context of that single paragraph, be relating to anything other than united.

You can substitute "united's" in place of "our" and the statement still reads correctly.
The sentence doesn't read so well if you substitute "Sky's" in place of "our". Sky won 3-0????
Nah, doesn't work.
United won 3-0.

It's either been put through the rag-prism-algorithm to pander to the billions of worldwide fuckwits, or more likely the presenter is a rag and he's lost all sense of impartiality.
You've got to love the mental gymnastics on here to prove bias. You don't actually need to imagine stuff when there's much more obvious examples. I worry sometimes about some posters mental health on here.

So the BBC stance over Hamas when they refuse to refer to them as a terrorist group is OK ? They have been infiltrated by minorities who have too much power in the BBC , and do not represent the UK populations views on many subjects , the sooner they are defunded the better. As for commercial click bait it is the curse of modern society and the internet , but it is a part of life no matter how abhorrent i find it.

just a point on this not your wider post. They aren’t supposed to reflect the views of the UK population, they are there to report the news.
