TV Series

Plays up knowing hes being filmed I think. Not dry at all. Contrived?
I enjoy Gogglebox, it’s just 2 glasses of red wine entertainment.

All reality shows are contrived though, my mate was the General Manager of shop that was in the British version of Pawn Stars (just over the border in Wales). They got family and friends to call in with items sourced by the TV company. I was supposed to be in it taking a diamond necklace that was handed down from my Grandma, it fell through at the last minute, it’s just light entertainment.

You'll probably laugh at this but I've just started 'As time goes by' with Judi Dench and Geoffrey Palmer, from the first episode.

I can't remember when I have laughed out loud so often recently. Gentle humour and no contrived box ticking.
Love it. :-) (so sue me for being old fashioned and liking gentleness etc.) :-)
Brilliantly written - Geoffrey Palmer and Judi Dench complement each other perfectly.

I’ve been watching Everdecreasing Circles recently, forgot how dark it was in places. Very underrated show.

Love/Hate.

Like KIN another Dublin gangster series, but more humour and more violence.
Only 4 episodes in the first season and it's pretty raw but if you stick with it then it improves vastly in season 2 and onwards.
I've just finished season 3 so going to start 4th season tomorrow
There are 5 all in all
