Mbappe is easily far superior over Haaland as a overall attacker + stardom/marketability. For someone who's arguably the best footballer itw, there would be no competition as the top dog.

I love both of them and wouldn't have any one else but people tend to have nostalgia and only remember the good moments.

As much as I love Aguero he wouldn't even be able to get into some positions that Haaland does to at least have a shot on goal and lets not forget Aguero missed sitters too.

FFS one of the most heartbreaking games City vs Spurs 2nd leg where we lost to the handball goal that VAR didn't see/ choose to see.. the Sterling equalizer was ruled out because of.. Kun not hustling and getting back onside and the goal was chalked off.

Even with their weaknesses.. I still love them and City are very fortunate that they've had both those players. Long may it continue!

He's definitely ahead of Haaland in dribbling passing and overall technique, but Haaland can bully a big physical centre half with strength, has better goalscoring instincts and is a complete physical freak. I don't think you can say with any confidence either is 'far superior' to the other.

I'd actually argue Haaland is much more marketable aswell, Erling is actually likeable whereas Mbappe comes across as a spoilt brat.

We already have Phil, Julian, Jeremy, Oscar and Erling, thats at least 3 of the top 10 players under 25 right there!

The situation is getting ridiculous. Every PL club is owned by a billionaire but the organisation seems dedicated to guaranteeing that xnone of this wealth should find its way into the game. They are all "fit and proper persons" to own a football club, but not to spend their own money. And major international companies are not to be allowed to decide how much a sponsorship deal should cost them - if they want to spend it where they wish and this doesn't suit. The PL meddlers will decide. It must be "fair market value"! So, if you want to spend it to help a club be more successful, to qualify for the CL and to get your enterprise more exposure, forget it. What the PL wants is a level playing field! But not for Luton or Burnley ... or Newcastle United. And all this is worth trying to ruin the great success story of the last 15 years, ruining one of England's historic clubs and also a twice winner of the European cup. The best interests of football in England are served by disunity, dissension ... and probably the PL dragged before the courts. What a triumph for the regime!

last year haaland managed 36 goals and 8 assists in the best performing league in europe, and won the treble

mbappe got 29 goals and 5 assists in the 7th best performing league in europe, and finished 1 point above lens

personally i think ‘easily far superior’ and ‘no competition’ is a bit of a stretch

then again it is quite hard to gauge just how good mbappe is, given world class players don’t usually choose to waste half their careers mincing about in farmers leagues, whilst taking the piss out of the people who pay their wages
