True but it’s a bit of an up and down season. We haven’t been able to play a settled team due to all sorts of reasons. It would need to change if we are to keep pace. Stones coming back is a big plus but then Kev out again and Jack is not.

The whole squad needs to step up. I do think that is why the new players are under the spotlight. When is the last time one of them stepped up and won the game? That’s part of problem this season and Arsenal and Liverpool can smell a chance.

I thought that might have been it based on the replay. The cynic in me thinks he also would let it go and then leave it for VAR to overrule any obvious 'error' had the Scouse scored soon after.
