The noticeable thing in this game is Haaland has a lot more space. You'd imagine De Bruyne would have found him 2 or 3 more times in that half.

If he's fit he might get half an hour to cause chaos out there.

I have seen us play more long balls in 45 minutes than I have in the full season so far, Pep has obviously seen something he feels we can exploit.

You can see why Pep wanted both Kova and Nunes, when they hold the ball and then spin through the lines we look very dangerous.

Doing things right, just lacking the end product. Foden really lacks power in his shots.

We’ve played pretty well there but our play in the final 3rd is typically wasteful.

Our wide men regularly create next to nothing and it hurts us. Bernardo has been brilliant but his final ball/killer pass is so, so poor for someone of his ability. Nunes might be one of the thickest footballers I have ever seen.

We’ve looked good in the middle of the park and not for the 1st time, Kovacic alongside Rodri looks like our best midfield partnership.

Bournemouth are shite and give us more room to play than most. We have to make it count.

Nunes has some engine, this is THE team besides KDB for Nunes (although he’s been excellent) going forwards. Kova gives Rodri a lot more freedom to roam forwards so I think he has to play

Okay. Should be further ahead really and I think there's a big chance in it for them so we really need to kill this off early. Loving Bernardo central, he's bossing it as he always does when he's in that position. Was begging for Nunes out wide pre-match but really wasn't expecting it. Welcome surprise to see it. He looks much better there and so do we. Step up the tempo, be decisive and we win this comfortably. If we settle on this and play keep ball. It will be nervy and could easily drop points.

Why is the Bournemouth Centre forward very tall?

Because he's Solanke.

Foden and Bernardo have an admirable work rate. Unfortunately, Haaland is often the one that is standing admiring them. Needs to press with greater intensity and get up to speed with them when we’re attacking.

If we tighten up our passing a bit, we’d create a lot more chances against this lot.

We should be playing the ball up to Haaland quicker as he’s got that centre half in his pocket.

Bernado a bit frustrating with his final ball. Nunes looks like an option on the left, but I’d like to see him on the right.

Nunes having a good game. Kova aswell

Akanji on the right is mustard. He is a fantastic player.

Stones is stones. Dias looking solid and Ake playing well.

Rodri doing his thing and Phil scored.

Haaland goal next please.

Overall we are some fucking team. Read it and weep rags.

Did I miss anyone? -;)
