Well that was easy.Aerosmith - Rocks
2112 (1976)It seems appropriate as I'm currently listening to Rush (and working, of course) that @OB1 is next up.

Back In The Saddle - what a great opener!! First heard this on a free Sounds compilation give away and it got me hooked.
Great pick - interesting to see how this is received.
Already a popular pick on the Playlist Review Club when @BimboBob asked "How are you feeling?".Back In The Saddle - what a great opener!! First heard this on a free Sounds compilation give away and it got me hooked.

Love that opener and a great build-up opening to the song!
I have it on good authority that the nominator of that track was really feeling it on the bike that day. ;-)
Never heard of any of the tracks on this album so looking forward to this.
Come to think of it i have never heard any Aerosmith album.Couple of songs in the 80's and 90's and that's it.
Choices, choices...
Do I wear the tight jeans or short shorts?
I was going to like this post but pretty sure that'd be wrong.
I'm more interested in your concept album. Does each song cover an argument on a different thread?
As a bonus track in the style of YYZ, may I suggest the old BM favourite FFS?It's a mixture, thread specific and general themes. During the course of the week, the protagonist returns back to the music threads as (mostly) sanctuary from the rest of the madness. The working titles are...
- Nomination Day
- Match Thread
- Atmosphere
- Bimbo’s Bathroom
- Brick It, Smash It, Torch It, Claim It
- Gated Reverb 80's Hell
- You Know The Rules (Readers Wives)
- You F******g Clown (AKA Politics)
- 808 Playlist
- Where have all the Bosnians Gone?
- How Can You Miss Someone You’ve Never Met?
- The Scores Are In
- One Love
As concepts go I do accept it's pretty niche.

So just finished my first listen. Some really good music but I feel a discussion coming on around great 'screamers' of rock.
Daltry - great screamer
Plant - pretty good screamer
Screamin' Jay Hawkins - clue's in the name
Joplin - great screamer
Redding - great screamer
Gillan - good screamer
Dio - probably thought of as a better screamer than Gillan but not convinced
Tyler - lot's of screaming but far from convinced in my book
As far as I'm concerned less is more on the screaming front but i'm not sure ST is in agreement.
Cornell, the best of the lot.
No DLR renders this list instantly lacking :)So just finished my first listen. Some really good music but I feel a discussion coming on around great 'screamers' of rock.
