I'm trying to restrict my screen time and spend more time reading books and doing more outdoor activities.
Seen several friends and acquaintances disappear down YouTube rabbit holes and into echo chambers, so doing my best to avoid that.

Have to agree, I also like shirt videos on subjects I like as well. Just bloody adds are annoying they are getting longer as well.

I can't be bothered watching stuff on my phone. I used to watch on the laptop but they stopped me using Adblock. I’ll try and get it on firestick

Some adverts can be a pain in the arse at the thirty second long mark. Hit the back button, and then the play button again and the ad will either dissapear or revert to a more manageable five seconds. Handy if you have a full firestick and no room for Brave.

I think it was you that advised me to use Brave a few years ago. I only use it for YouTube (Chrome for everything else), but it's fkcing ace...no ads, and its ad blocker even updates itself when YouTube tries its trickery. Brilliant for the playlists. No interruptions.

It really is excellent mate, youtube in particular is unwatchable if people don't find a way to block the crap they shove at you.
