Liverpool Thread - 2023/24

The club turned it into a shithole. They bought houses and boarded them up. Left them that way so they could buy up the remaining houses cheaper. Once they had them all (around 20 years) they knocked them down and used the space. Thoseeliving in the area suffered. Now the shops and eateries survive on matchday revenue. They fucked the locals over and never gave 2 fucks. That is socialist for ya.
Whats the feeling amongst local cultists? Are they pissed off with the club? I was honestly shocked at the decline. I honestly dont think there is a shit hole like it around any other ground ive been to

They are the least socialist club in the land..FSG socialists...Littlewoods..Standard Charter..their fans from Cornwall...couldn't think of a more right wing club!

Not sure it was a case of "schooling". Whilst overall iIthought it a brilliant game of football, I kept on thinking what has Pep done to them today? Or what is wrong with them?
To me, it just looked like you didnt play, or at lreast didnt play as you usually do. I saw that teamsheet and thought Gomez was going to be tied in knots and would get a yellow in the first 15mins. I expected everything to go down that side yet Foden, who surely has the beating of almost every full back in the league, hardly seemd to get the chance. Bizarre for me, but equally I was very very glad.
Someone said it a few days ago, that only way City dont win is if you dont turn up...whilst I think you turned up, you certainly werent at your best.
Obviously I think it was a foul at the end (but I would), but to a degree I am fairly happy that it wasnt decided by something like that.
Arsenal going mad in front of goal now takes on an ominous look for both Liverpool and City.
It gets tighter and tighter.
Give over. Not a pen in a million years

You definitely had the best of the second half. Your players chased and harried us all game. Your youngsters look good and that gobby fucker Tront has a fight on his hands for his slot in the defence, unless off course Tront just steps into midfield?

As for the pen at the end. Well it was chaos on here with a lot of nervous Blues and after the replay there were still a lot of nervous Blues. We were very relieved when it wasn't given. Salah on the other hand.......
