Football Governance Bill (Independent Regulator) introduced today

Could be in general, but I thought it was better here as it impacts the club as much as anyone.

The BBC are slipping, no mention of City in the article at all .....
Yeah I noticed that only mentioning Bury and Macclesfield. They made up for it by filling the Paper Clippings in Gossip with the greatest comeback of all time from being a goal down and needing extra time cup tie though even if it is 30 hours after the event ffs can only conclude there are no morning papers today

The West Ham porn king quoted: “there’s no spare cash as the clubs are £2 billion in debt”
So that means that just one club is in effect carrying half of the whole debt of the entire division.
Nothing to see here - move along.
They talk about ‘sustainability’ but allow this level of debt. Incredible that they have got away with this for so long and fooled the world that it was about ‘fair play’

The irony of him and his government ( and I think the opposition are just as bad) to say this:
But for too long some clubs have been abused by unscrupulous owners who get away with financial mismanagement.

No doubt it will be someone not qualified, a backhander for someone who gives them the job and of course they must be a red top supporter.

If you ask all supporters through the leagues do you want to go back to no restraints on owners and how they run there clubs to how they were run for 120 years! Wonder how many fans would say yes or have they been brainwashed that much that they'd say no!

There's a huge amount of expectation with this but other than increasing the pressure to give even more to the EFL I don't see it changing things much if at all.
