Football Governance Bill (Independent Regulator) introduced today

Malcolm Clarke of the FSA just said it was the big 6 that forced the governments hand by not bowing to the rest of the league. I thought we were one of the few who wanted an independent regulator?
We were apparently the only one who voted for an independent regulator.
As for the blame being layed at the ‘big 6’ door, that’s utter bollocks.
20 teams vote in this league.

According to the Bill it will be illegal for a team to join a ESL within 10 year of being regulated, so for that to happen they need to operate outside the UK in some type of world league.

Here is a pretty good summary of the bill, if you ignore a few typos ...

I can try to explain things if there are questions.
