Things you have lost interest in over the years.

Well done on giving that up, it's quite annoying.

Ex colleague retired there not too long ago, really loving it. Will be going up to visit once the weather improves. Robin Hood's Bay v nice too, his daughter and SIL own an excellent little bistro there.
Agree about Robin Hoods Bay. I saw a great programme about how smugglers used passageways to hide the brandy.

Giving a fuck, pretty much. I was out in the garden yesterday, which I used to obsess with. It’s now overgrown, gross and full of weeds and shit.

I went back into the house very happy. Fuck the garden.
Buy a bunch of seeds of wild flowers, throw them into the grass. Heh presto you have a wild environment that helps pollinators annd other stuff. It looks great and although you keep your don’t give a fuck stance, you are also deemed a trend setter and a good ****. He’s the brilliant bit, only you know the truth.

Can't stand pubs in the evening any longer. Start early finish early.
You old bastard. I know you are because that’s what I love now too. Have a great day and be home before you need to put up with night drinkers.. Fucking wankers to a man. If you pick up a tasty takeaway on the way home, so much the better. Bliss

Popular music.
But maybe, it's not so much that I lost interest in it, as that it lost interest in me. I swear that I virtually never hear anything on the radio that makes me think, “Must follow them up.” And that's been the case for years.
I was mad about pop and rock right through the sixties and the seventies. I suppose it's a young man's (woman's) game.

Being nice to people who don’t deserve being nice to.
As you get older you soon realise that society is just full of selfish bastards.

I barely talk to anyone anymore apart from family, Genuinely don't have friends I cut them all off, I was always the one ringing or texting to see how they are or if the fancied doing something...I then completely stopped texting and hadn't heard anything in months and some of them years...

I keep myself to myself and do family things and I'm a happy camper.

Building my businesses meant I had to be unnaturally nice to people with it being hospitality.
Now I’m more behind the scenes I can go back to telling folk how I really feel about them.. :-)

I’m still very nice to nice people though.

At risk of being cheeky... The Bluemoon Music Association Thread. In that thread, somehow, 3-in-a-row letters in a song's title, artist or description, constitutes an accepted association. As a hypothetical example, illustrative of association abuse, one might encounter, say,

"We've Only Just Begun" by The Carpenters...

only to find that the next post claims association with

"Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns and Roses...

Don't see an association? Then you're with me.

The claimed association might be:
"We've Only Just Begun" by The Carpenters
and
"Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns and Rose

(or perhaps some poster would latch on to the word "the" appearing in both song descriptions)

Participation in the non-associatiative, Music Association Thread, is something I've completely lost interest in.

I now post in "What Are You Listening To - Right Now?" instead.

Playing in bands.
Gigs are fun but it's the mid week practice and travelling to Gigs. Can't be arsed any more.
Riding motorcycles.
Gardening.

Is that Brambles? We stayed first week of new year and was recommended this by our hotel owner. It was closed the whole duration of our visit the lazy feckers. :) Looked neat as well.

Had to walk miles for an Italian in Whitby along the cinder path so we didn’t eat in the pub every night. Even that train cafe thing was closed!

No offence Mr Clapping but please stay on topic. This isn't a Travel blog.
