Season Tickets - 2024/25

We've just announced record profits and in the 20/21 season behind closed doors we made more money than the 19/20 season. What's the need for them to put prices up? As you say, people are struggling because everything has gone through the roof in terms of cost. So why aren't the richest club in the world helping their fans out a bit by lowering prices, since our own balance sheets and annual financial reports prove that match ticket revenue isn't important. It's because they want tourists in the ground over proper fans and if that doesn't make you even the littlest bit angry then I don't really know what to say to you. The fact that you're coming into this thread, where people are airing legitimate grievances, with flippant remarks and little jokes just makes you look like a twat.
What little jokes have I said ? How many times, its a business, City's overheads go up, so as a business they put prices up and let's not forget we get value for money don't we ? Or do you disagree on that as well?

Fucking hell just looked at your post history, this thread would be 20 pages less if you'd not 'contributed'

99% of what you've typed is absolute waffle but this need to try to belittle and patronise is ridiculous, of course everyone understands its a business but what most others also understand is that its a highly profitable business without the need to put more and more financial strain on its customers (notice how I used that word not fans) in times of hardship for many
I give up ....

Agreed.

Roof, Food, Bills, Making sure the kids are OK (for those who have kids) all come first.

It's at a stage now were football is a low priority, Maybe it's a case of getting a Cityzen Card and picking and choosing games to go to.

Without putting a final nail in the coffin saying this, Ticket prices are only going to keep rising, Being successful comes with the territory, The club will always find someone to fill a seat being this successful.

The club doesn't care about the fans, That's not only Manchester City, It's every football club in the Premier League, It's even the Premier League itself! They couldn't care less sending us to Newcastle away on a Saturday night!

It's business unfortunately.
Nail on head !!!

It is what it is, nothing we can do about it. However, once Pep leaves and the success dwindles down, the club will find themselves in a very awkward position of expensive ticket prices and empty seats.

Ferran and Co will be drinking Sangria in Catalonia by then laughing about how they priced out those miserable mancunians to even care.

For now. Pep won't be here forever. Neither will the success on the pitch. Let's see how many of the new fans stick around then in a 62,000 seater stadium. We'll still be here though won't we, regardless of the continuing season ticket and match day ticket prices rises.

Platinum season ticket. £795. SSL1, block 115.
I said to SWMBO, that mine is now over £900, just less than £50 a game
She said "stay with it whilst Pep's here, then make a decision. You've always said it will never get better than this"

She's right, but close to a grand on football tickets means there's even less chance of me buying any domestic cup tickets
I already give the CL a swerve

It wouldn’t be so bad if you could give your season ticket up for a couple of years, if you’re struggling financially, in the knowledge you could get it back. We all have lean years, where football has to take back seat. The reality is, if you give your season ticket up, that’s it. So people who can’t really afford it will struggle on. I don’t see city as a hobby. It’s a way of life.
