Are we even playing today?

Not seen us mentioned on the sky sports app, all about the entitled red mardarse clubs.
we never get mentioned and thats just how we like it, they think denying our existence will make us go away, its the equivalent of a 5 year old sticking their fingers in their ears and saying lalala i am no listening, in their tiny minds they think it makes a difference but in reality it means nothing.

football is all about opinions but factually the centurions team is the best pl team, when someone beats that amount of points then they will be, but thats the facts no matter what any other fans say or arguments are made, pl is about the most amount of points and nobody has amassed that many points before or since so they are the best, better than the 99 team, better than the invincibles.
You are correct, but the media narrative will always be to play down City’s achievements (especially the centurions)and keep other teams past achievements relevant..

I noticed summat yesterday when I went looking for a bit of action from our Women's game v the Dippers and stumbled across a headline adorned with the ugly visages of Spitty and Nutter with the headline WHY ARSENAL MUST BEAT MAN CITY! Nothing like nailing yer colours to a masthead.

They had Nicky Summerbee who had the great line "Don't ask me about winning. I was always getting relegated."
like i said in a previous response, it must be great to be gassed up by the media to be an amazing team despite having fuck all to show for it, when the winners of 5 out of the last 6 pls are shit, the narrative that they try to drive is insane.

whatever happens today, rice isnt on rodris level or anywhere close and thats just a fact, rodri has been consistently good for 5 seasons now, rice has had 2 thirds of a good season, one thing isnt the same as the other.

Ffs he isnt on kovacics level yet, rice is a very good player but he has a ways to go before being talked about in the same breath as rodri.

Having been a blue since 1980 I have loved this unexpected golden era of success, it certainly beats getting beat at home by Bury! As such the silverware is great but tbh we have won so much and against such odds I am less bother about shiny baubles and more interested in individual games. Today these gobby Arse fuckers need a reality check.

The people who do the 'talking' are not interested in the slightest about visual, factual quality and what Rodri has brought, not just to City, but to the game as a whole. He would be hailed as the best in the world only if he had a different shirt colour and his home ground was postcoded L4 or N7!

I expect to see that sort of rubbish in the main paper but this was in the separate TV guide magazine. They have no boundaries.
Presumably they advised parents not to let Tarquins under the age of 21 to view the game and send them to bed early. Arsenal tv will be a must watch if we get a good result.

Rodri was voted 5th in the Balon D'or last year. So he does get a little credit :)
