Arsenal (H) - Post Game Thread

Played well until Ake's injury. Took ages to get going again after that. Only really started looking dangerous again when Grealish came on. Shame anything dangerous fell to Doku rather than Haaland. Arsenal came for a 0-0 and that's what they got.
Haaland got the ball unmarked in the 6 yard box and didn’t even hit the ball. He’d have been just as likely to fuck up as Doku today.

Not the end of the world but it will be tough ask now.. the good news is we have a fairly decent run in now and definitely have a lot of the type of teams you want to be playing against if you are looking to improve your goal difference, particularly in the final 4 games… if we can go on a run I would fancy us still.. but it’s obviously out of our hands.

Said it from the start of the season that we never replaced Gundo and sadly so it’s proven as it just feels like we are missing something. Poor today by our standards and sadly I make the Dippers now favourites.

2 goals in 4 games against the other top 3...no wins against the top 5 this season...says it all.
Disjointed performance that, passing in and around the box was not nearly good enough...did their GK have to make a save?
We are just a bit off the pace this season, not quite clicking....as yet

Richards can go and fuck right off as for the game one cowardly team who didn’t want to play and one who were fucking toothless up front.

Kev and Haaland both well below expected standards

Bright spot was Rico looking decent when he came on.

We’ve still got every chance of winning the league.. Tbe Arse set the agenda today and we couldn’t break them down, despite having a few good chances.. Arteta got what he came for . We move on, 3 major trophies still to play for…!

Liverpool with their fixture list will win it by 4 or 5 points

Only one team wanted to win the game even though we weren’t at our best, they just didnt want to lose made for a tight game! Silva was most promising for us! On to the next usually we start kicking on but seemed to have levelled off understandably so after last year

I like your optimism, however I would like to know where the goals will come from to win these matches??
Well, as I said, Idk why Pep took one of our only natural goalscorers in Foden off for two players(Bobb/Doku) who are far from that. We desperately need Haaland to start firing on all cylinders.

Really?

3 points behind with 27 points to play for...

Still plenty of twists and turns left in this title race.
It’s now out of our hands. Even more so after the Liverpool draw, we need both to lose/draw elsewhere and we’re quite thin defensively. Just calming expectations
