Decent enough 1st half. Think that included some of the best football we have played for a while. Stupid fucking goal to concede but that’s par for the course these days.

Rodri has run the show, supported well by Rico.

I think it’s there for Jack and Doku to do the business. Just gotta keep going at the FBs.

Phil too quiet.

I hate saying this because I absolutely love the guy but Bernie has been stealing a living for most of the season and it’s continuing tonight.

Grealish and Doku both good first half. The goal conceded was as shit as usual but we looked more threatening. Alvarez has to score one of those chances. Poor finishing.

Haaland would have buried every Alvarez chance tonight but would we have made them with Haaland in the XI?

He'd have only got the headed chance.. movement wouldn't have been the same as Julians with near post through balls... Erling moves to cb furthest from active play for crosses and tap ins

You just know first couple of mins second half luiz will foul again and ref will wave it away, game could be done if Alvarez just had a bit more composure for the strike that the keeper toed away and a few inches taller for the header ..
