Thing to remember also with Palmer is he was coached by Pep but playing for us means playing against a brick wall most weeks with very little space but now he is playing against teams who dont sit back and he has all the space in the World so looks much better, as any of our players would given the extra space to play in.
The move suited all parties so best of luck to him ( bar when he plays us)

Mate, half of those are penalties and Chelsea are tenth, which his overall play has contributed to (not completely down to him, but his deficiencies, which were on show tonight, have played a part along with their many other promising but raw/flawed players).

His overall game would ensure he would be nowhere near a regular starter under Pep.

I really don’t know how anyone can actually watch him play full matches and not understand that.

He was even poor tonight.

Penalties aren’t a given and his overall play is the only reason they’re not closer to the relegation zone. You’re trying way too hard to discredit his performances.

The difference between City and Chelsea with Cole Palmer playing is at City you need to do it every week.
At Chelsea, He can go missing for weeks and still pick up the odd goal from the spot and that's fine, When you are at the top and don't play well you are out and somebody steps in.

Yes a good player, But when the best manager in the world (Pep) says you are not ready. Learn from the bench and do all the hard training with the best players in the world and in a couple of years your time will come.

Young players want it right now and think they are ready, Well Phil Foden is still fighting for a place in the middle of this great squad and Only now demands a starting place
