Premier League (midweek) Games 2/3/4 April '24

Pochettino is a hugely successful manager and will get Chelsea playing right if given time. He didn’t sign most of those players so if they have a clear out this summer then next season it’s his team.

I think this is a complete myth. What has he done to be regarded as hugely successful?

Had to laugh at the commentary when Mount was preparing to come on. They were saying that he's going to get a great reception due to all he's done for Chelsea, and (of course) referenced that game in Porto which, let's be honest, Pep handed to them. Then Mount comes on and gets absolute pelters from the crowd from then on. Talk about misreading the situation!

Loads of them out there. Isn't Spitty a famous one?
I would say more than loads, the vast majority. Carragher turned into a proper turncoat, of course then you have transfers. It really screws with their attitude towards multi clubs, completely different to that of fans.

I'll repeat what I said earlier this week
The rags should be looking behind them because Newcastle's run of fixtures to the end of the season is very favourable
The game between the two will, IMO, prove decisive in the battle for 6th
Irrelevant fc.

They really don’t matter anymore, do they?

It’s been an absolute joy watching them suffer season after season while city win trophy after trophy. I remember thinking even after we won the FA cup and league that the bastards won’t go away and for a few years facing them was a fucking stressful affair. Now tho? It’s been an absolute pleasure on the whole.

I’m sure some day due to the help they get and the revenue and ffp tweaks they will land on another good set of players and a good coach but it’s is not this day.

Until then…
