That’s why I turned the sound off!!

This is not a criticism just a concern: is it my imagination or is Erling not jumping as high as he used to? Do you think he’s carrying a niggle on his knee?
Hmm. I'd not noticed. It'd probably help if we got crosses past the first man.

His touch isn’t good enough either.

Notice he gets into pockets in midfield and we don’t find him because the lads behind him obviously don’t trust his touch.

So frustrating.
He’s just not good enough to play in that position. When he did get it in space towards the end he just rolled it lazily to the full back when trying to find bobb.

Needs changing now rather than waiting for us to be behind and then doing so, because we will go behind carrying on like this. Once again, one too many players in attack leaving us wide open in the middle. Rodri who is having a complete mare himself needs help.

Grealish off at halftime who's been awful, get kovacic on central next to Rodri and push alvarez out wide for now then replace him with foden when needed. Not winning this without somebody coming in next to rodri.
deja vu really. rodri all alone, midfield wide open, defenders getting crap. copy/paste.

It was never gonna be easy. But being very sluggish doesn’t help.
We played well after falling behind up until we actually equalised. Than we fell back in the low tempo we all know is not too difficult to defend.

We don’t need any changes. Just up the tempo and stop giving the ball away to get ourselves in trouble.

Always going to be a tricky one, early kick offs are rank, half an eye on midweek but on the whole we’ve dominated and got in down their left flank multiple times.

Lads at the back need to give each other a shout in the press but other than that, this is set up for us to win if we keep going. Palace will tire.

Playing with one defender is a problem. That’s why he’s looking at brining Akanji on.

Was always going to be difficult against these twats who always show up against us, and with Pep going back to playing Alvarez in midfield to accomodate Haaland.
That's mainly because of his goals before his injury, since his return he's been nowhere near his best.

Fair play to Rico and Bobb they've been the best of the bunch so far.

I can't believe how poor we've been defensively, Crystal Palace have obviously spotted areas where they can capitalise our mistakes, Anytime the ball goes into Rodri and Stones that's why they trigger the press and it's working for them, Mateta is toying with Stones and Dias too physical for them. Gvardiol is always pushed up the pitch and they exploiting the left back area too.

As for the attacking players we need alot more from Grealish, Alvarez and Haaland it hasn't been good enough in the final third.

I actually think is a game for Nunes to be the midfield runner and run in beyond Haaland.

Looks like we need to make changes, Get Foden and Nunes on.

We've had 4 shots saved or cleared off the line
they have been busy around our area and we are pissing about with our passing but have offered fuck all threat unless made by ourelves.

we are unlucky not to go in leading, Pep won't allow such sloppiness second half

Rodri disaster class. Otherwise a decent half. Expecting a couple of goals early in the second. Haaland should have scored the one on one.

Rodri shouldn't have started in the first place. Flogging him to death doesn't help anyone. Surprised that Pep could make such a mistake.

Pep made a mistake to start Rodri. Should have subbed him in if necessary. If he gets injured or loses form, we ain't winning anything.

Alvarez and Haaland should do better.

Thought Bobb had some brilliant moments. Rico did well.

Akanji is currently our best defender.
We’ve lost every game in which Rodri hasn’t started, I think, so it would have been a tough call dropping him.
