Not at our best, too many individual errors. Would look at bringing Akanji on for Lewis for more balance (not as a reflection of Lewis' performance) and Foden for Alvarez. Stones can then step into midfield and we have more pace and strength at the back.

If we keep chipping away and cut out the individual mistakes, we should win this.

Kovacic is perfect for our midfield alongside Rodri. Dont understand the two number tens formation we've played most of the season.

Our passing really has been poor at times this season and none more so than today. Not easy to pick out players playing against 10 at the back but even simple five yard passes are going astray.

We need to buy another centre half with genuine pace if we want to leave ourselves so open. Also, when we have players like De Bruyne who can score a goal from literally nothing, then you have to ask why we are leaving ourselves so open at the back. We’re certainly making it a lot easier for Palace than we have to.

Rodri looks fucked so I would have him off with Alvarez and put Foden and Kovacic on.

Yes our passing has been piss poor but even worse is we aren’t looking for space to receive the ball.

People are saying we are not defending well the transitions, but even with Kovacic it would be the same, because we are losing the ball in 3v3 situations. It's not like Palace is getting the ball back in their area and going through our midfield. It's our defense and midfield the ones losing the ball in dangerous positions.
