The pedant in me says its next week, they can still mathematically finish above us however there's also as much chance of Stockport finishing above us as utd.

Today is Facepalm Sunday, when it is technically impossible for them to finish above us based on the statistical history of first division football, whilst next Saturday will likely be St. Beneathus Day, when it is mathematically impossible for them to finish above.

This is a new theological development and gives us two days to celebrate. ;-)
