Premier League Games 13/14/15 April '24

Can we all just agree that Palmer is a great player who is thriving in the move he’s got!

He is having a great season, of course the test will be if he can sustain it the following seasons.

Clearly a very talented footballer and it was a good move for him. You would imagine Chelsea need to improve though because he seems quite strong minded and won't settle for mid table for multiple seasons. He'll want to ge out of Chelsea at some point if he feels he's too good a player not to be fighting for titles or champions league.

I don't mind that he left us though, we can't have every sweet in the jar and he wanted to be elsewhere, so it ok.

I can't believe how many think United has a brighter future than Chelsea. There's far more talent on this Chelsea team than on United's. I'm expecting a tough match on Saturday. They'll also have a two-day rest advantage.
I certainly don’t want to see us play basketball style against them. That plays into their strengths. A game for the false 9, huge amounts of possession and frustrating them.

Gotta feel for Sean Dyche

Decent bloke and a good manager but his club are rotten to the core, they need to go down and maybe go down again to eventually find salvation

Palmer is that fucking good, if you asked Chelsea to swap him for Haaland tomorrow they would bite our fucking hands off lol.

Fair fucks to the lad but come on…
It’s getting Disneyland levels of fantasy on here when it comes to Palmer.

Then again, most of it is being instigated by WUMs getting their jollies.

Come on mate, it is 2024, there are multiple online sources where he says in interviews he didn't want to leave. It was Pep being Pep sometimes and I am afraid some accountancy background work where we needed a large chunk of ready cash.
He didn’t want to leave, he also didn’t want to stay and fight for his place.
He wanted to go out on loan.
So Pep sold him.
Pep’s philosophy has always been if you don’t want to be here then you’ll be sold if the valuation is met.
I’m backing Pep 100% on this cos the trophies tell me I should.

Great post.

Actually two weeks as this is nothing more than a training session.

Fucking hell this could get really bad for Everton. If square head has any sense he'd rest players now for our game. I hope he doesn't though.

I guess he will be top scorer end of season for PL.
what a fucking season for him. could not see this coming. he must got to Euros. imagine he was doing this for Liverpool or rags.
