Real Madrid post match post mortem

Gundo too would of struggled with Real Madrid's tactics
Gundo would have scored. Outside the box, inside the box, back post and front post. Gundo would put 2/3 past them. Gundo is such an intelligent second striker and midfielder. Not this BS we have been doing of passing without purpose and not shooting when it matters.

Decent performance against a top side. Probably a bit unlucky, and missed 2 really good chances. On another night we march on.

Need to get our heads in straight for Saturday..

Very disappointing result. Dominated the play but when it came to shooting couldn't hit a cos's backside with a banjo. A lot of side to side passing with the ball, spurning chances to shoot and instead electing to thread a ball through the eye of a needle.
As for penalties, Bernardo, what on earth were you thinking?

You have to pay your debts for seasons like last year. Just got to be in and amongst it every year.

Thought we were better overall, but they are good side who set themselves up well. Don't like them playing like an expensively assembled Palace but you can have some success like it.

Dust ourselves down and go again for Saturday.

As long as Jude Bellend does'nt bring the colour of his eyelashes into the eqaution

This is interesting but how many times have we dominated teams and not won/gone thru.

Then you watch the rags who get outplayed and are dominated in terms of possession and chances a lot and they go and get a result.

Once a season you could accept as an anomaly but its too often an occurrence… even when we win its by slim margins relative to the possession/chances…. Think Pep needs to look at this, its only going to get worse if we dont change our approach

Well Real better go and win the damn thing for the 15th time now and not let the German rags or fucking Paris win it.
Id have the jeeeermans over that sh*te. Like an italian team from the 80's ..awful to watch. Both games they were not great..two scruffy goals at home..it looked like everyone was thinking this would be a formality. Motivated them as that prick Bellingham said

i’m not having any hate for Bernie. the guy is one of best players ever. he made a poor decision but he ran and ran for 130 minutes.
I don’t think it’s hate for him, just frustration at a penalty like that. When he’s taken a penalty in the past he whips it to the top corner, why he decided to take it like that, he’s probably asking himself the same question.
I love Bernardo, by the way.

Really frustrating to watch him atm
He cerianly is a conundrum. Can’t argue against his goalscoring record but we do need more contribution.
I said to my mate today that that if Pep wanted to throw a curveball he should revert to the false 9 tonight.
He is so easy to play against with his back to goal or in really confined spaces and he’s got a head like a 50 pence piece and our overall crossing and corners is woeful.
Lots of posters have commented on the quality (or lack thereof) in our set pieces. Absolutely dire.

Any poster that gives Pep or the players stick can bugger off.

We remain the top dogs, have battered European ’royalty’ and only need a couple of signings to frighten everyone to death next season.

Make big changes for the FA semi and win the Lge. That will more tan do me. CTID.
