Every time I see this thread pop back up to the top of this forum I experience an acute PTSD episode.
True to form Truss resorts to an antsemitic trope

Liz Truss book includes false Rothschild quote about ‘control’ of money
The former prime minister wrongly attributed a quote about financial control to a Jewish bankerwww.thejc.com
My guess is she employed Mr. Schatjeepeeti Feur to write her copy.Antisemitism or just idiocy?
Like numerous right-wing simpletons she is an uncritical supporter of the Zionist state and Zionism.

Liz Truss: 'I'm a huge Zionist and huge supporter of Israel' - Jewish News
The Prime Minister was joined a numerous cabinet ministers who all spoke at the Conservative Friends of Israel event at the Tory Party's annual conference in Birminghamwww.jewishnews.co.uk
The quote has been widely circulated and has been used in articles in outlets such as the Economist. It's a misattribution that has been around over 100 years.
There's a similar fake from Thomas Jefferson, but that one is probably much newer.
Liz Truss isn't a serious person, if she was she would have paid a professional researcher to source quotes that go with the narrative she had outlined and avoided this area. Even if the quote was genuine it would have been a stupid thing reference the Jewish banking dynasty, when the mere mention of "Rothschild" triggers a crank warning.
A delusional narcissistic simpleton.
I’ve said it before but it deserves repeating a thousand times, it’s actually incredible that this completely insignificant, unimpressive person with absolutely no people skills whatsoever became Prime Minister of this country. It’s genuinely staggering. Johnson, May and Sunak are/were terrible, but you can see how they attained that office. With Truss it’s a real life version of ‘Being There’.Even Johnson and Sunak, on their worst days, aren't as ridiculous as this stupid cow.
I think the word ‘simpleton’ encapsulates her perfectly.A delusional narcissistic simpleton.
We're waiting for the steam roller to be delivered. Why has she not been driven over by a steam roller yet!

And yet some cunts still defend our utterly shite electoral system. The underlying problem is that Truss was chosen by Tory members - probably because she was white and had a vague resemblance to Thatcher. The Tories are no longer a mass party. Their membership in no way reflects the general population. Not even the general population that broadly thinks of themselves as 'Conservative'. You are looking at a clique dominated by old, white people mainly from rural and suburban areas, spiced with wild-eyed UKIP types and outright cranks.
The equivalent would be a Labour leader picked by Socialist Worker types, animal activists and social workers.
The underlying problem was she became PM. This woman was once the second most powerful person in the country; albeit for a couple of months. Let that sink in.The underlying problem is that Truss was chosen by Tory members - probably because she was white and had a vague resemblance to Thatcher. The Tories are no longer a mass party. The last few Prime Ministers (and most cabinet members) suggest we are now a bullshitocracy. The underlying problem was she became PM. This woman was once the second most powerful person in the country; albeit for a couple of months. Let that sink in.
We stopped being a meritocracy a long, long time ago.
Yes. Irrespective of your views on Cameron, Blair, etc. at the very least they had statesman-like qualities. Our last three PMs have been court jesters sent out to entertain the masses. But the joking has been unfunny and cruel. The last few Prime Ministers (and most cabinet members) suggest we are now a bullshitocracy.
Johnson was certainly a court jester, but Sunak is just a strange, deluded individual and Truss is strange, deluded, warped, ridiculous and just about any other insulting adjective you can think of. Teresa May went from our worst ever prime minister to fourth on the list within a year.Yes. Irrespective of your views on Cameron, Blair, etc. at the very least they had statesman-like qualities. May could negotiate with Europe (sort of) but she couldn't negotiate with the Brexit fuckwits in her own party who wanted an impossible deal.May was a bit of a crap negotiator but she wasn’t objectively a complete moron with no moral compass.
Admittedly that’s a low bar but history will be comparatively kind to her.
