I came back for that and was lucky to get a hospitality ticket and watched it from a window at the ground…. I was fkin livid and actually tried to get outside but the guy on reception told me that I wouldn’t be allowed back in ….. although they completely understood how I felt!
Feral vile cnuts they were that day !!

The trains are already reduced from 3 to 2 trains per hour between Manchester and Euston and vice versa that weekend as there's engineering work between Crewe and Stafford.

I think the main issue is the cup final falling on a Bank Holiday weekend when rail engineering work is always planned so routes can be blocked from Saturday to Monday to complete larger projects.
I assume the cup final is 2 weeks later than in previous years as a hangover of the winter World Cup in Qatar. Therefore, the organisation to blame are our corrupt friends at FIFA!

Anyone know what criteria this sold out at last year? I assume all ST holders will have the chance to buy?
