I think these youtubers started off with decent intentions to allow people who couldn't see games on the telly or wanted to avoid certain commentators, mainly abroad, but they all get sucked into that race to the bottom and need to do something that attracts "viewers". They end up as performing monkeys, only without the brains.

What I really object to is having some of these turning up as "pundits" on channels like Sky or Talksport who operate under broadcasting rules, when they themselves have made a living outside of those controls and have said any old shite they wanted. I guess they invite wankers on like Brent to make Melissa Reddy sound intelligent.

I know it's sort of going off topic here, It comes to show you how big this whole "YouTuber", "Influencer" or "Content Creator" aka "Twats" actually is these days...

Even outside of football, Take Boxing for example, The big money fights now is fighting a "YouTuber", This is the way is gone unfortunately.

As you said, All these people are being brought onto the likes of Sky, TalkSport ect and it's bullshit, It's all because they'll get more listeners and viewers from these absolute nobodies.

Unfortunately society is fucked, You could show people a photo of Pele and they'd have no idea who he was, You could show them a photo of Goldbridge and they'd tell you his life story.

It's fucked up.
