Season Tickets - 2024/25

They were prepped and ready :)

Someone posted that it was showing thousands in the queue even after they'd all gone in minutes. Hugely oversubscribed.

I wouldn’t take much notice of those queue numbers. I don’t think they’ve been reset in about three years.

Plus most people have would have had at least two or three devices fired up in prep.

Still only one on this thread unsuccessful from what I can see.

Didn't have any great optimism of my chances as I had to go to hospital with the wife for her 10:00am appointment. Sat in the waiting room logged in on my phone and got straight in. Tried 102 - showing 48 tickets available. Selected one only to be told that seat was no longer available. Screen then froze! Quickly refreshed and remembered the Bluemooner's seating layout showed Level 3 had more ticket availabilty than Level 1, so dived straight up to 302 and was lucky enough to get one. Brilliant! Feels really nice to finally say I am a Manchester City season ticket holder.

Massive thanks to posters @Edstari and @invisable man's Bandage for really helpful info yesterday.
Your story reflects my exact experience, tickets in bag for 102, lost them grabbed some in 302 thanks to the map in here and was successful, see you there!

For anyone interested, I've DMed the club on Twitter regards Matchday membership already being renewed and they are refunding this.

I am so grateful to those that liaised with the club around the introduction of these. So relieved not to have the stress (and expense!) of all 19 matches going on sale at once.

I imagine that the 600 that went on sale are very likely STs that weren't renewed so the overall proportion of ST holders hasn't increased but the club could easily have turned those into matchday tickets as they did last year which makes them more revenue (in more ways than one if a tourist gets hold of them).

The criteria also works from the clubs POV as not only can these tickets not be transferred, those keen on purchasing a ST in future now know they need to be buying tickets directly from club to meet criteria. Less existing STs being shared between friends and family = more on the exchange for City to sell on for more money!
Hadn't thought about this - do we need to cancel the auto-renewal on Matchday Membership or will it just flick over to ST?

Just saw this on Facebook - looks like whoever’s manning the support account hasn’t had a great morning

Congratulations to all those that got a Flexi Gold today. I'm a SC holder so I was never after one but I must admit that initially I thought they were an awful offer but that's because the club were as clear as mud about the actual costs etc.

They are actually a good alternative to a full SC and as the club aren't currently issuing them then they are as good as it gets for the moment. More expensive yes but you have the same seat for each game and you can attend all home league games if you choose. Maybe there will be the opportunity to upgrade to a full SC next summer when the expanded NS opens too. The only gripe would be the 600 offered is a measly total.

Does anyone know if these flexi golds will be allowed to relocate from next year ?. I know they cant upgrade to full gold. Daughter still really happy. She had an ST from age 5, but gave it up when she went off to Uni.

Fair play to those who paid for 15 PL games in the last 2 years costing around £900 for the average category and cheapest adult seats.

It will be interesting to see how the prices compare once released.
How else can new fans watch City? You have to pay the full price. After Covid I deferred for a season because I thought Covid would get worse. In the end it didn't and I bought 15 of the 19 home games at full price in different parts of the ground. Spent far more and went to less game.s

They can't officially. It wasn't a knock, and I know some will have spent a lot more than the base figure.

After not being successful this morning I will have to shell out another shed load in July for next season (about 900 just for this season)- assuming I can get through
Congrats to those who were successful though...

Just to provide an update on this. The club are aware. They have spoken with the member of staff and will be looking at appropriate training and guidance for the individual.

This was one of my main questions. Think I have confirmed earlier on in the thread, but Flexi Gold ticket holders will pay the same as season ticket holders plus £150 should they attend all games. Where there might be some change is in the exact amount charged per match (i.e. Liverpool or United would be dearer than Luton or Burnley). That said, in order to amount to the season ticket price plus £150, I wouldn't imagine it would be too much more.

Would be interesting to see at the end of next season if people keep a running total of what the flexi gold actually cost them compared to what it would have cost for the games they attended if they bought matchday tickets individually instead.

I think people are aware of my stance on Flexi Gold - although I appreciate the flexibility it will offer some and the lack of options for those who want a (somewhat) seasonal ticket.

Following our recent Ticketing Sub Group meeting, we asked the club to issue new 'normal' season tickets to the same number that had decided not to renew this year. They've decided not to do this. However, they did allow Silver Members to renew as Gold members. As a result, we have ended up with slightly fewer 'normal' season tickets.

When compared to the existing number of Silver Members (which I am considering as a similar, flexible product to the Flexi Gold) we have ended up with around 700 new tickets in this category.

The club also indicated that for the foreseeable future, the only seasonal product (the club's words not mine) that would be offered is Flexi Gold. I am not sure if that includes when the North Stand opens, which I am seeking clarification on.

I think the traditional season ticket as we know it will never be made available again, intact I expect the club to move towards "encouraging " those who currently have them to move to gold and then flexi most likely by inflating the prices of a origonal to beyond that people expect to be a reasonable price

I dont usually work Fridays but did today, got an unexpected meeting passed my way for 10:00 and completely forgot about this, logged on at 11:15 but after being given a map of the stadium nothing was left. Well done to those who were successful, I’m a FOC and have seen most home games for over thirty years so someone else can have a shy. What I won’t be doing is shelling out a grand a season for match day tickets as I have been doing since I gave up my season card pre lockdown.
