Spurs (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Great result played under intense pressure.

Probably not at our best but again we got the job done. Absolute set of heroes these players.

Got there in the end after a stuttering first half and a few vital saves from our keepers. On to the Etihad and hopefully 4 in a row, is that a quad, somebody check with the dippers.

Also, I know it's the matchday thread and all that but why were some on there querying Doku coming on, we needed an outlet and it worked well.

Jesus Christ that was fucking excruciating. Some relief when Erling unleashed Thor's hammer on that penalty. I made a noise I don't think I've ever made before when Son went through on goal.
Me too. Don't want to diss our injured Eddie, but I don't think he saves that. Ortega was definitely MOTM.

It's been a really long, strange anxious day.

Bring on Sunday. However I am sure Moyse will come to frustrate and defend. I just wish we could have got a 3rd goal to wipe out Arse GD.

Thank god the season is nearly over, I hate these close run ins 5 in 12 years is far too many at my age! Give me a Centurions season any day with the PL wrapped up in April!!

Thought my distaste for spurs would somewhat ease tonight… boy was i wrong hate them even more. Not getting any thanks from me.

And breathe......for a few days at least.

Ederson looked a bit hurt at the end. Maybe a fractured cheekbone?

I don't watch Spurs much but they and Liverpool seem to be the snidest dirtiest teams in the league. Must be a real pain to play against and you could tell from Haaland's reaction to his first goal that he was not having fun.

This was a big big result. I honestly expected to not win this game and this is a game won by sheer bloody stubbornness. More impressive than a 4-0 easy game this was won in the balls. How does this squad keep so hungry. If they win 4 they will want 5
The relentless shit fouling of Phil was terrible
