I think the players mentality on the pitch comes down from the Manager on the touchline.

Sure, they should take it upon themselves to motivate each other more…

But that is going to be difficult when you have a manager that is seemingly indifferent to bottling the league and just happy to be finishing second (and who just got a contract extension so is confident this failure won’t have any impact on him).

I just think that the players need to take a greater share of the blame after all they are the ones on the pitch. I get it Taylor isn't popular in certain sections but City finishing second on the last day doesn't paint him to be that bad of a manager really.

Agree with the gist, however we won at Chelsea. The game we were robbed of was at home when we were leading with only 9 players. The ref played well over the alotted time until Chelsea scored.

The home game was the one refereed by the Chelsea employee. Nothing at all dodgy about that! Media not the slightest bit interested - just think what the media would say if the roles were reversed… City cheating again….

Exactly and conceding on 89 and 92 minutes unforgiveable when the title was in our hands even a draw would've been enough
