Have not seen or heard one suggestion in the press that Chelseas total domination is bad for the women's game. On the contrary they are held up as a shining example for all clubs and an inspiration to girls everywhere. Nothing against Chelsea they do not benefit from media arse kissing like the red tops but the inconsistency is staggering. If our men win it four times we are killing football they win it five times they are perfect roll models. Suspect if they had been playing at our place and the raggettes the othe potential winners the coverage would have been rather different.

On the flip side, the world title fight, Klopp, Arsenal smashing Everton, 115 across the media and social media, etc, has took the build up to the match and the spot light off the players.

No mention of the decisions in the first Chelsea v City game where the ref sent off 2 players, the first for not taking a free kick quickly enough & then playing until they scored.

Everton have let in just 49 goals this season, you have to go to the top three in the Premier league to find lower. Everton could well do a job for us.
They are also (along with Arsenal) the only side to have kept as many or more clean sheets than us.

Just sayin, like. ;-)

Doesn't the ref in that game have some links with the Chelsea Women's team ?
There was a strong refereeing bias towards Chelsea in that match. The time added on was ridiculous...

Losing tomorrow and Arsenal drawing would be hilarious!
Horrible thought and the way added time is manipulated there's every chance of a late Arse goal in the 15th added minute....we don't want the potential of a City version of that rags gif at Sunderland.

The Calciopoli investigation started in May 2006 and finally ended in 2015 with the trials in 2011.

Lance Armstrong case started in 1999 and continued until 2013.

These are the cases that the journalists and fans want to compare our case to, when they talk about relegation and vacated titles and "financial doping", and yet they're so fucking stupid that they can't even spend 30 seconds googling how long those cases took to resolve.

They want the case to be absolutely huge so it can invalidate the last 15 years, but they also want it done with at the same timeframe as a relatively minor accounting breach by Forest.
Some, will be. Others though, are not, they know exactly what they are doing. And getting the more daft ones to echo it for them.

You mean exactly the same way you think Mason Greenwood is a rapist despite him never being tried and convicted? Both cases where evidence was put in the public domain so people made their own minds up before the end of due process.

Can we drop the intellectual dishonesty here? We live in a world where being charged for something changes how people think about you. You do it, Kay does it, everyone does it.

This idea that everyone else should think about the club as if nothing has happened at all is complete fantasy, and it's deeply hypocritical because anyone who spends an hour on this site could find a dozen examples of us doing the same to other clubs or individuals.
No issue withthe principle there, but what evidence regarding our alleged wrong doing has been put into the public domain?

I think there’s a massive difference between a young lady releasing footage & then dropping charges.

What I will say is charges were dropped / withdrawn with no realistic chance of a conviction whereas City’s were exaggerated for effect.

Lol, not really Karen! In fact I’ve taken to putting the mcfc website comms on and muting the tv recently.

No, Main Event channel doesn’t show for me - I thought you needed the full sports package to get that. I only have the two footy channels.
Maybe tomorrow afternoon they’ll make Main Event available to me too, as a one off — we shall see, but I’m not expecting it … otherwise it’ll be a case of “Take Me To The (small) River”

I'm the same. Usually, they add an extra 'PL' tab that replicates what is on the main event one. If they do that you and I will be ok. If they don't, that's a bit shit imo. Might have to buy a one off day pass.
