Players who might improve us

They have to ge the ball to try to give it to them first. Remember PSG with Messi, Mbappe and Neymar? I reckon they'd need to find a way to stop Foden, Haaland and Doku also.
they got battered by Dortmund for the most part, we just need to be clinical and ruthless. We're twice the team Dortmund are and still will be.

Its not about what they can do, its about what we can do.

But we can’t go into such meetings with injured players and a half-cooked midfield. We don’t need too many more players, just fit and dependable ones.

exactly but complaing about who others buy rather than who we buy is a weird way to go. we bought x, yeah but madrid bought Y is odd. are we better? if the answers yes thats all you need. we can only control that

Trevoh Chalobah for the RB/RCB role think with the correct profiling we could have an Akanji type player in him. HG , young defender. Perfect for current system imo.

hell no, the only chavs player worth anything is reece james if he wasn't made of stuff that more fragile than glass, would've been perfect walker replacement

They're getting rid and bringing in Tosin on a free as an upgrade. Im not suggesting we should do this but we would be better off just bringing club trained Tosin back on a free if we were in the market for cheap cb cover over Chalobah.

By all accounts the deal at Chelsea isn't even that great, he just doesn't want to move house etc. Seems settled in London.

Rather have kept Harwood-Bellis if we felt we needed another young centre half.

Having watchwd quite a bit of this kid Sebastian Nanansi I think it is really perfect type of signing for us. He is a bit in the Olmo/Bernardo mould. He can play anywhere on the wings, attacking misfielder or central midfielder. Talent wise I would say he is up ther with Kulusevski and Isak when they were playing in the Swedish league.

He has 5 goals and 7 assists in 11 matches so far this season. We have had scouts watch him last year when we were interested in Hugo Larsson.

I say no simply because someone will give him the nickname "Noncey" because it is somewhat phonetic.

Think he may have it in him to be a Nathan Ake style left back in a pinch aswell, more so than THB, that might get him a chance in pre-season at least.
think he'd be a perfect understudy to Gvardiol but at the age he is, probably needs solid game time to improve faster.

Another loan/sale&butyback beckons for he lad

yes, but same as THB better at LCB, we're mostly likely looking for a RB/RCB in the theory above.
Yes, I keep seeing people talk about Braithwaite and Van Der Ven but I feel like our more immediate need is on the right. And yes, in a perfect world you go big and get everyone you can, but even 3 “generational” left footed CBs who are essentially the same age seems a bit excessive?! Of course, I suppose Pep could totally figure out a system that worked - “no right sided defenders” could be his next strategic innovation.
