Thanks for sharing mate, really enjoyed that. Think Noel has articulated a lot of the points well and seems to get the general mood from most fans about these situations.

Also good to see that he's rightly hammered the American ownership model, which in the eyes of the media is rapidly becoming the acceptable face of football, when it is actually the biggest danger to the format of the game.

It would be worth getting Alonso just to piss off the dippers. I used to work with a bunch of them and they are obsessed by him. They always believed that he would return as their manager and win everything. They also truly believe he is just as obsessed with them

That depends if you think saving or scoring a pen has no mental or technical skill involved. Anyhow lots of teams have and will defend deep but it doesn't mean you HAVE to play a possession based game. It might be the best way to get results but it can be a trifle boring .

Nah. The discussion was on City being boring. My argument is that we aren’t boring because teams are too chicken shit to play us. That point has not been disproven. Yes real got the result, but at the end of the day, I watch the sport to be entertained. We may lose here and there but we are never boring by our own doing.

It was gut wrenching to lose to Madrid but I do feel very proud that we reduced the to playing like burnley and Everton to get that result
