City launch legal action against the Premier League | Club & PL reach settlement | Proceedings dropped (p1147)

Guessing lived as another poster says he lives at sandlylands near h rednapp. He well loaded and might have both places
Redknapp moved from Sandbanks, he lives near the GolfClub Seems they missed the sea views so much they bought a £7m house on Sandbanks knocked it down and have permission to build a new one

Of the same opinion myself

There is no doubt there is a case to answer. The rules impose onerous requirements on the commercial activity of a minority (including the requirement to cancel or amend perfectly legal contracts between two entities), they are applied in a discriminatory manner to a subset of that minority and they are not necessary for the benefit of the sport and so can't be exempted from competition law.

All imho and a very unlegal opinion at that, but there are other, much less controversial, ways to control FMV of sponsorship and other contracts, as UEFA do.

If that picture in the headline shows the building where the hearing is taking place, I’m not saying it is, I may have found the location of the hearing? Then again I could be miles out, literally. :-) Either way, it’s a bit of fun.

The building cladding, exterior and windows look the same in these 3 pictures as the building in the headline picture.

I'm fairly certain that the building in the top picture is Millbank Tower. It's the building in the background that gives it away. If you know, you know!

I agree with your sentiment but we need all the support and help we can muster, this is no longer just about us this is an attack on the game and league we love by the Yanks.

If they get their way a lot of games will be played off the shores of the UK, no relegation, no open transfer market, games will be hours long and will probably go to quarters to get extra advertising revenue etc.

The yanks will destroy football just as they have with every sport they touch.
Too fucking right, I mean breaking rounders took some doing given how fucking simple it is but those cunts managed it!

He also said the result may not be disclosed, so if we win, all we might see is sackings at the FA.
He also said he did not expect us to win, that might be down to which charge, or who was paying him at the time. My view is we have a Members Association who should be protecting all it`s members, but has knowingly and willfully brought in an illegal rule, without the full support of all it`s members, that can be used to target members, that is not for the benefit of all members.
He also said it would not impact the 115, but how could it not? the FA may not be there, such is the importance of these charges, there is the way the FA are using the rules, the wording, and the repetition of the charges.

What do the FA have to do with it?

tbh there are so many brilliant bits throughout the whole piece, and everyone of them revealing the dishonesty behind the plans contrived by the PL at the behest of their yank masters.
It should be required reading for every football writer and every football fan.
