City launch legal action against the Premier League | Club & PL reach settlement | Proceedings dropped (p1147)

I’ve had a Forest fan sharing a video calling us cheats. Phoenix Nights themed. I said you’ve admitted to cheating FSR. He said yeah but we accept the punishment on the chin and show integrity. I said not really. You complained about VAR all season but when it came to the vote you left Wolves high and dry on one vote against st 19. I told Tosh that it was reminiscent of the Notts scabs in the Miners’ Strike.

The gloves are off as far as I’m concerned.!The Prem have turned a blind eye to our owners being racially discriminated against and need to be put in their place.. I know Evertonians were ready to teach Masters a lesson

I don’t know about anyone else, but it really is getting pretty nasty in chats with people I’d actually considered pretty good mates. I was joyous that we had become so successful without becoming public enemy number one even as recent as the season before last. But this last move seems to have turned a huge tide against us. Dig in blues!

Just explain the lengths that the red shirted greed cartel have been going too for over 10 years now then thr penny may drop with them

Either they will thank you or they will prove to you they are bigots or too dim for you to associate with

Anyone seen this? Where were the PL checks for this.l? Oh, wait, skin not dark enough to trigger a review.lol

If true- and probably is - nothing to see. I suspect we are arguing over more than just shirt sponsorship but the absurdity in these arrangements must help our current case. There are numerous examples of how clubs are gaming the system with shell sponsorship arrangements with opaque ownership and seemingly limited accountability to UK Authorities as they are registered in the Cayman Islands or other such places.

We have a minor sponsor with such an arrangement I think.

See below for some eye popping detail.

He also said the result may not be disclosed, so if we win, all we might see is sackings at the FA.
He also said he did not expect us to win, that might be down to which charge, or who was paying him at the time. My view is we have a Members Association who should be protecting all it`s members, but has knowingly and willfully brought in an illegal rule, without the full support of all it`s members, that can be used to target members, that is not for the benefit of all members.
He also said it would not impact the 115, but how could it not? the FA may not be there, such is the importance of these charges, there is the way the FA are using the rules, the wording, and the repetition of the charges.
Am I missing something?
Where do the FA come into this?

I was expecting it when I went into work this week, but the complete opposite.
Not a peep out of the regular Liverpool and United heads.

Must have been a typo, I'm sure he meant "grifting".
Original definition of 'grafting' in the US meant precisely the same thing. How appropriate!

Around 1865, the OED says, 'graft' in the US was 'The obtaining of profit or advantage by dishonest or shady means... especially bribery, blackmail, or the abuse of a position of power or influence'.

The lack of leaks is good because it means there’s nothing to gloat about for the usual moles
Even if anything was leaked, it would need a competition law professor to go away and analyse it before giving an opinion on which side it possibly favoured. Cases of this nature can be incredibly tedious to the layman with one or two sentences of text being deconstructed and debated for hours.
The news media will just wait for the judge's decision like the rest of us - leaks in cases like this one just aren't sexy enough to be newsworthy.

I would normally agree with you that if it was most other teams, the media would just accept the verdict.
But, there's been several high profile articles in the supposed "high-end" press saying this judgement will have major repurcussions e.g. the EFL would not get any money from the Premier League.
If City do win, you can bet this will be portrayed as a terrible decision, opening the floodgates to an Arab domination of the Premier League.
That will not be acceptable to the Red Arse Media...
