They’re supposed to be able to work in theory but when Bellingham is on the side Phil is, there’s hardly a connection. Plus, the spaces you’d expect Phil to take up is where Bellingham is.

Said it earlier, don’t think we’ll really see City Foden as long as Bellingham plays the role he does. It is what it is.

To be fair we’re playing a bit better than I expected going into the game… but our biggest threat has been Kyle Walker and their biggest threat is Alexander-Arnold.

Which I think says a lot.

Still too risk averse. Not creating enough and that additional safety is not even giving me the assurance that Serbia won’t score. Feels like we’ll gift them one at some point.
