Shearer was over critical of Foden, and over rating TAA throughout I thought.

He did one simple interception first half TAA and Shearer wanted to wank him off

Thought he was quite poor throughout Arnold, looked nervy and lucky not to give away a goal
Completey agree. Sounded like Shearer was being paid to big up Twat Absolutely Average. Cringeworthy and utterly embarrassing

And don’t get me started on how they spoke about Bellingham
Ok he’d a good game, you’d think he’d reinvented the fucking sport though

I don’t think Bellingham brings the best out of those around him for England
Seems to want to do eveyrthing himself
A twat of the highest order IMO - just don't get the hype

Bellingham, like the rest of the team, played well in the first half.
But, he faded massively in the 2nd half.
Harry Kane continued his "fall guy" act, winning suspect free-kicks, so he is immune from criticism.
As said many times, Phil is the victim in the England squad.
Play him wide on the left, like tonight, and his threat diminishes.
Thought Gallagher & Bowen showed a lot more grit and control, than Trite & Saka.
They helped England see the game out.
But, a massive win which should see England qualify...

Bellingham is a good player, but he tended to overplay the ball at times.

The BBC rate your player has Foden as dead last with a rating under 5, with Kobbie Mainoo above him, a player who as far as i remember touched the ball zero times. A nice reminder that there's a lot of angry irish, fake scousers and southerners who can't quite comprehend that we've destroyed their whole history of football dominance in the past 7 years. We've took everything they cared about, and crushed it into a blue shaped hole in their soul. Its more beautiful than anything we could have possibly imagined.

If it’s not migs and hilda in the media then it’s spitty and neville on sky.
Time for a change

I love Phil Foden for City, and Stones and Walker.... but they are English players sometimes and when they are they are generally what English players are... all talk and no action.

You could predict the performance since 4 years ago, or 4 years before that, or 4 years before that. I can tell you now that England will be the same in 4 years' time.

I don't know why but England can't seem to get a group of players to block out all the frenzy and create a system that works for them. They'd probably be better off with no supporters and no media. Basically they'll be awesome after a decent armageddon.

We have the same desperate inclusion of some players regardless of how well they fit the team, that we have had for decades. Rice, Bellingham and Foden picks itself based on performance, however much I despise the Bellingham hype train. Arnold is simply not in that league as a central midfielder. He is back-up to Walker, at best, because he is not as good a defender as Walker, nor as good a midfielder as the three mentioned. With those three central midfielders, Saka or Palmer wide right, and Grealish/Eze out on the left, we would be sorted. Sadly, we are not, and we shoehorn Arnold into midfield and shuffle the PL Player of the Season out to the wide left. We won, fine, but that team will not beat the best teams without an awful lot of luck. Hopefully, he will learn, but I am not hopeful.
