Apart from the usual petulant behaviour from "Jude" and the off the pitch elbow dig into the back of a opposition player near the corner hoardings. There was a bizarre 2nd half incident which got totally unnoticed in the commentary where Bellinum was chasing down a Slovenian player who got to the ball first and in frustration he swiped out a massive air kick aimed at the back of the player.

Bellingham is an 8
TAA isn't an 8
Gordon is an 11
Saka/Palmer as a 7. I think the latter deserves a go.

teams like Slovakia , Slovenia, Serbia etc just make it hard to break down, that’s why they hold their own against other nations. Yes we SHOULD still be comfortably winning but it can be difficult when they camp the box, fake injuries, time waste etc.

I’m struggling to think of many sides that have looked that great, Spain and Austria maybe.

If we did play Holland, it would probably be much better to watch, they would attack us more and this would allow more space for Foden, Bellingham, Saka and others. We’ve been really poor this tournament but I thought tonight was more positive than negative and the predictable outrage is nauseating, we look so entitled when we top the group and fans are booing in anger.

Personally I wouldn’t boo a young side that are giving everything, it’s not quite clicking and we’ve been poor, but tonight we created loads more chances and dominated possession. Poor result but all the outrage and anger is unjustified imo.
