Page 3 in Newspapers

Suppose there’s plenty of porn sites around these days for dirty old men to have their wank over so page 3 can just remain a fond memory for them of a bygone era..

And they just go and do only fans anyway, people sell sex it's incredible how self righteous people get when confronted with an obstacle they can't navigate.

I forget which paper and model, but that definitely happened.
Hot Metal was a brilliant sitcom that pretty much flew under the radar, but parodied all this brilliantly and invented the Wobblevision, which I think the Sunday Sport actually tried to do some years later.

plenty of women prepared to say they control their own lives, income, businesses in this manner - there will be some abuse, there is in all walks of life but as you say, the piety levels are already on the rise. Ancient Greek, Indian subcontinent and Egyptian culture features countless examples of this "artform". Lad mags were nothing new

I know you are jesting but they went out of business because of the internet and the proliferation of smartphones and tablets.

And that decline is reflected across pretty much all magazines. And I know you know that because you have previously told us you worked in publishing.

The lads banter culture was never healthy but the feminist campaigners were a bit short sighted in that didn't foresee the explosion of Andrew Tate and other hateful grifters.

Always found it ironic that women would complain about the 22 year old glamour models on covers but say nothing about those women's magazines that put flabby celebs on the beach under the microscope.

That was a decent show, a bit like Drop The Dead Donkey which followed a few years later. '80s and '90s TV was so bloody good at times.

It was the Daily Sport and the model was Linsey Dawn McKenzie. The Sport also had a nipple count too.

According to a friend of mine. I've always read the Guardian, myself...

the paper's receptionist (when they were based on a floor of the old Daily Express building on Great Ancoats St) often appeared in the rag with her charleys out, according to a colleague of mine ;)

I met a journo from the Sunday Sport on the train. She was very proud of their nipple count and thought the paper was the bees knees. No accounting for taste.
