It took Mrs H years to realise i always booked our holidays when it was International breaks, she'd regularly ask "who are City playing this week?" Used to say it's a cup weekend and we have no game.

Another big lie, went to an away game at Villa in the early 90's, got back and went on the lash, back home in the early hours, Mrs H "how come you're so late?" Well Aston Villa is in the South Coast near Cornwall where we've been on holiday, 6 hour drive home.

Can't get away with it now, she's morphed into a proper City fan.

I worked with a woman who said her husband used to leave with his golf clubs at night to play floodlit golf. She later found out it was the bar maid he was playing.

Is the Tenerife outback that vast it would take this long to find a body in this day and age? Serious question.

The islands are all volcanoes in the sea basically. The area he is assumed to have gone missing in is one of the most barren and isolated areas there. Have been several times on excursions and the roads are very narrow and treacherous even for experienced drivers. They're basically ravines and if he has slid or fallen it would be very difficult to locate a body, even for trained rescuers. It could just be a simple case of him walking on the main road as such and a car has come round a corner and ran into him, they've panicked and disposed of him tragically.
