Predicted we would be out the first time we played somebody decent. We somehow got to the final before playing anybody decent but my prediction was accurate.

Southgate should still go. the style of play is not good enough. 1 and a half good performances in the semi and final but was otherwise turgid.

there is a lot of players who’ve been there for 7-8 years and that is too long. Kane, Walker, Pickford, Stones, Maguire, Trippier, Shaw plus Rashford as well. clean out the dead wood and build a Pep style team as we have the players.

just seeing Palmer at the end - he looks like a Kevin De Bruyne in the making frankly. as city fans we have to admit the guy is already verging on word class and we fucked up under assessing his quality. he makes things happen.

need to get away from filling the team with Rice, Hendo, Philips water carrier style player.

Nobody can disagree Spain deserved it over the whole tournament and this game as well.

Enjoyed 2nd half. What baffles me is that England seems to play good football when they are trailing.
In this game Spain was there for the taking after a great equaliser from Palmer. But that lasted 5 min and they went back leaving the initiative to the opponent.

Shame. You were close.

Find it very bizarre that they are yet to show a close up of Bellingham after the final whistle

Been around virtually all of the players who are clearly upset, and yet Bellingham seems to have been omitted

His PR machine have probably vetoed anything in the same shot that smacks of the result.
I wouldn't be surprised if he does a John Terry and goes up to collect the trophy with the effin Spaniards!!
