It’s great. Every time I saw Alvarez on the team sheet last season (alongside Haaland) I just knew our attack was going to be stunted. He was a good back up to Haaland but a terrible ten. But Pep always wanted him to have his game time.

I think he’s underrated by a few commenters here. Alvarez would start ahead of most PL strikers so I can see why he’d be up for the move, especially to Spain & to Simeone. We got a great fee so can’t complain.
