It'd be incredible naivety from Alvarez/his representatives, as well as City - Dovbyk plays for Girona, so it's not like they won't have taken note of that.

If Atletico really have bullshitted him, then I feel sorry for him and that changes the situation. I'd still look to sell him if possible, and I'd never sell to them again.

Only one particular feature we need to think about - Alvarez ability to pass/cross long from right hand side. Usually we have KDB to do it. But I wont expect KDB to play all the games next season. Neither Walker or Rico has a good cross. Since we never have a left back and Josko refuses to cross with his left foot we really cannot lose the crossing from right as well. I will look for a right back like Joshua Kimmich or TAA profile. Otherwise it might help to give our current right footed attacking players (Doku Grealish Kova) occasionally license to roam to put in a cross.

If Atletico drop a bollock here, PSG would not go as high as Atletico did. They’d know they are the only club in the race, so would test City a bit more. I reckon they’d offer around £65-70m and not the fee rising to £81.5m that Atletico offered.

He’s reportedly on £100k per week at City after his new deal. They say Atletico have offered more than that, so are they saying the figures are something like:

Atletico: £120k per week
PSG: £200k per week

And he wants £200k, which is what the £80k gap is?

If true, it’ll collapse as that is a chasm.
 
Bye then. I'm more excited about talents like Bobb, Savio, McAtee, and O'Reilly, plus Grealish regaining his form and Nunes' 2nd season. They all fit our backup false 9 formation better than Alvarez, imo.

If psg have offered that wonder why that haven't matched atletico Madrid bid and just get him if it's falls through with AM watch psg come in with a low bid because Alvarez head has been turned

I know Ben Ransom (Sky Sports Presenter) personally as he plays cricket for a local club
He supports Charlton, and away from the camera, dislikes the rags arrogance
