It’s a tough one though. Alvarez is definitely not going to play anywhere near as much this season as he did last, because (touch wood) KDB won’t be out for 5-6 months and Haaland for 2 months. That was the reason he played so much.

So after a season where he’s playing much less, his value only goes down. This summer is the optimal time to sell.

So imo, even if PSG undercut Atletico to around £65m-70m, instead of their £82m, I still think we have to consider it.

Atletico: £120k per week
PSG: £200k per week

And he wants £200k, which is what the £80k gap is?

If true, it’ll collapse as that is a chasm.

Hard to work out as it's not clear, but wouldn't it make more sense that PSG are offering double Atletico?
